Basketball Recap: Port Washington Takes a Loss

Port Washington lost against Oostburg back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Port Washington Pirates lost to the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen on the road by a 72-58 margin.

Port Washington has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Oostburg, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Port Washington will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Oostburg, they will challenge Sheboygan Area Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
