Bolivar Central's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Fayette Ware Wildcats get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by nine runs or more this season.
Dalton Bissett made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bolivar Central is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-10-1 otherwise. Bissett was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Bolivar Central's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-11-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Fayette Ware, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
