Softball Recap: Brewster Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Brewster, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the New Rochelle Huguenots by a score of 6-3 on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Brewster's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Giana Kusterer, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Ava Medina was another, going 1-for-2 with two runs.

The win got Brewster back to even at 3-3. As for New Rochelle, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Brewster didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Hendrick Hudson on the 16th. As for New Rochelle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-1 defeat against White Plains on the 15th.
