Volleyball Recap: Winfield Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Winfield won the last time they faced St. Charles, and Aubree Schott did her part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday with plenty of help from Schott, who had 15 assists and 11 digs. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Winfield was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-15, 25-13.

The victory made it two in a row for Winfield and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for St. Charles, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-3.

Coming up, Winfield will head out on the road to take on Warrenton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Charles, they will take on Burroughs in a tournament on Saturday.
