Soccer Recap: Western Guilford's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Triad Math and Science Academy on Wednesday, Western Guilford came back down to earth. The Hornets fell just short of the Cleveland Rams by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The loss put an end to Western Guilford's undefeated start to the season.

Abisai Carmona-Rosales and Elisa Nkurikiyinka scored both of Western Guilford's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Western Guilford fell to 3-1. As for Cleveland, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Western Guilford wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, an 8-6 victory against Voyager Academy on the 23rd. As for Cleveland, they will face off against West Johnston at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
