Volleyball Recap: Sherman Oaks CES Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sherman Oaks CES walked away with it. They came out on top against the Downtown Magnets Suns by a score of 3-1 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Sherman Oaks CES is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14-1 record this season. As for Downtown Magnets, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Coming up, Sherman Oaks CES will face off against East Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. Downtown Magnets does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
