Baseball Recap: Coram Deo Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at 12 Games

Coram Deo Academy had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the DasCHE Spartans with a sharp 8-2 win on Monday. That looming 8-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Grant Edens made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Sebastian Young was a standout: he scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Luterek, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Coram Deo Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-14-1. As for DasCHE, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
