Stoughton dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 44-19 to Mount Horeb/Barneveld. While losing is never fun, Stoughton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Mount Horeb/Barneveld is ranked 36th).

As for Mount Horeb/Barneveld, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1. Considering they have won three games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brooks Hendrickson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 288 yards and four TDs, while also rushing for 46 yards. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. A healthy portion of Hendrickson's aerial production (96 yards to be exact) went to Hayden Anderson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stoughton will take on rival Portage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mount Horeb/Barneveld is set to face off against their familiar foe Sauk Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
