Softball Game Preview: Peachtree Academy Panthers vs. Trinity Prep Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Peachtree Academy Panthers challenge Trinity Prep Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peachtree Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity Prep will be coming in after a loss.

Peachtree Academy had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-run drubbing they dealt Lyndon Academy on Monday. Peachtree Academy blew past Lyndon Academy 21-1. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Trinity Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Peachtree Academy.

The win got Peachtree Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Trinity Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
