Basketball Game Preview: King's Christian Knights vs. Highland Regional Tartans

The King's Christian Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Highland Regional Tartans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

King's Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 39-28 victory over Gloucester County Christian.

Cam Homer and Matt Johnson were among the main playmakers for King's Christian as the former posted 14 points and the latter had 13 points.

Meanwhile, Highland Regional was able to grind out a solid win over Williamstown on Thursday, taking the game 50-43.

King's Christian pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Highland Regional, their record now sits at 3-9.
