Baseball Recap: Osawatomie Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

On Tuesday Osawatomie's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Wellsville Eagles 5-3. While the Trojans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Osawatomie pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average this season. As for Wellsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Osawatomie will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Anderson County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wellsville, they will venture away from home to challenge Osage City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
