Volleyball Game Preview: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Briggsdale Falcons

Peetz is on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Briggsdale a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Peetz Bulldogs will welcome the Briggsdale Falcons at 5:30 p.m. Briggsdale took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Peetz, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Peetz sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over North Park.

Peetz wouldn't go down easily and took North Park into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-19, 20-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Briggsdale lost 3-0 to Otis on Friday.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 26-24, 25-13.

Briggsdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Peetz, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
