Basketball Recap: Bishop Loughlin Comes Up Short

Bishop Loughlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Nazareth Kingsmen. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Sunday (58), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Bishop Loughlin's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Nazareth, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Bishop Loughlin will host Xaverian at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Nazareth, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-55 defeat against Archbishop Stepinac on the 2nd.
