On Friday, Spaulding faced Thetford Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Spaulding Crimson Tide fell 55-48 to the Thetford Academy Panthers. The Crimson Tide just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Spaulding now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Thetford Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
