Volleyball Recap: Waskom Takes a Loss

Waskom was the 3-0 winner over King's Academy when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waskom's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for King's Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Waskom didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Trinity School of Texas on the 21st. As for King's Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Tyler Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
