Sylacauga is a perfect 8-0 against Montevallo since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Aggies will look to defend their home pitch against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Sylacauga is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.

Sylacauga's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Chilton County 4-0. Considering Sylacauga have won eight games by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Montevallo fell victim to Indian Springs and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Student, falling 6-0.

Sylacauga pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five contests. As for Montevallo, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6-1.

Sylacauga came out on top in a nail-biter against Montevallo in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Aggies repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
