There's no place like home for Southwick Regional, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They blew past the Athol Bears 3-0 on Tuesday. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Southwick Regional never let Athol on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 25-18.

Nicolas Spina paced Southwick Regional's offense, picking up 15 kills. Spina got some help from Phong Tran and his 28 assists. River Thompson controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Southwick Regional is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Athol, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Southwick Regional has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Chicopee on the 17th. As for Athol, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Sci-Tech on the 17th.
