Volleyball Recap: Pine View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Timpview on Friday, Pine View came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Hurricane Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Pine View was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Hurricane work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 28-26.

Kiera Samfong paced Pine View's offense, picking up 12 kills. Samfong got some help from Emma Schuman and her 19 assists.

Pine View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pine View will square off against rival Cedar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hurricane is set to face off against their familiar foe Desert Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
