Softball Recap: Manti Takes a Loss

Manti was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-5 to the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles. If the Templars were looking for revenge after losing 17-2 to the Golden Eagles when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Manti saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Olson, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Manti's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Maple Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Manti wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-2 defeat against Salem Hills on the 12th. As for Maple Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 21-1 victory against Enterprise on the 12th.
