Basketball Game Preview: Johnson Warriors vs. Burbank Titans

Johnson is 0-10 against Burbank since January of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Johnson Warriors will head out to take on the Burbank Titans at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Johnson is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They took an 84-67 bruising from West Campus.

Burbank has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-64 heartbreaker at the hands of Armijo. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Titans came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Royals are ranked 1199th).

Burbank's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Johnson, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Johnson took a serious blow against Burbank when the teams last played on January 10th, falling 101-28. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Johnson was down 58-20.
