The Orcutt Academy Spartans will head out on the road to challenge the Paso Robles Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orcutt Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Orcutt Academy got the win against Coastal Christian by a conclusive 11-1.
Mark Andrade was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Malakai Corona, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Paso Robles ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Mission College Prep 3-2. The win was nothing new for Paso Robles as they're now sitting on three straight.
Paso Robles saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xander Hermanson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Orcutt Academy's record now sits at 3-13. As for Paso Robles, their record now sits at 12-10.
