Baseball Recap: St. Charles Falls to Huntingtown in First Game of Season

St. Charles had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 6-1 to the Huntingtown Hurricanes. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

St. Charles saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Valenzuela, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. St. Charles will square off against rival McDonough at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Huntingtown is set to face off against their familiar foe Calvert on Monday.
