Basketball Recap: Houlka Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

Houlka extended their road winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Elijah Foster. The Houlka Wildcats blew past the Jumpertown Cardinals 71-42 on Friday thanks in part to Foster, who went 11 for 13 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Dee Simon was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points and six assists. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Houlka is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Jumpertown, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.

Houlka will challenge Smithville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jumpertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
