Softball Preview: Liberty Christian Academy Eagles vs. Whitehall-Yearling Rams

Liberty Christian Academy is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They came up short against Millersport on Tuesday, falling 20-3. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

Aubree Waites was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. Waites was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Kylie Whistle was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Whistle is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Taylor Stace was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
