Basketball Game Preview: Alanson Vikings vs. Ellsworth Lancers

Meanwhile, Ellsworth didn't have too much breathing room in their match against North Michigan Christian Academy on Friday, but they still walked away with a 51-47 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Ellsworth's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Alanson, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Alanson against Ellsworth in their previous matchup back in February, as the team secured a 71-39 victory. In that contest, Alanson amassed a halftime lead of 38-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
