Soccer Recap: Heathwood Hall Episcopal Comes Up Short

Heathwood Hall Episcopal came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Cardinal Newman Cardinals, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Cardinal Newman this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in March.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Cardinal Newman, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Coincidentally, Heathwood Hall Episcopal and Cardinal Newman will both be playing Augusta Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Cardinals will host the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Highlanders will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
