Basketball Recap: Jasir Tyler Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat John Bartram

While Paul Robeson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. For the Huskies, this counts as revenge for the 62-49 victory the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2020.

Paul Robeson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jasir Tyler led the charge by dropping a triple-double on 11 points, 12 assists, and ten steals. Tyler is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least five every time he's taken the court this season. Shiheed Rice-Sloan was another key player, putting up 22 points.

Tyler wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Paul Robeson was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Paul Robeson and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for John Bartram, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
