Baseball Recap: Pike County Takes a Loss

Pike County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Carroll Eagles. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pike County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Carroll, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Looking ahead, Pike County will welcome Houston County at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carroll, they will venture away from home to take on Zion Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
