Baseball Recap: Cowan Blackhawks vs. Knightstown Panthers
Cowan had lost three straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 5-3 to make it four. They lost 17-1 to the Knightstown Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blackhawks of the 21-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Looking ahead, Cowan will challenge Northeastern at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Knightstown, they will be playing at home against Purdue Polytechnic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Techies have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
