Preview: Fallbrook vs. San Pasqual
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Fallbrook should expect quite the challenge on Friday. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with San Pasqual at 7:00 PM . Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Fallbrook, and their contest three weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to three. They were dealt a punishing 7-70 defeat at the hands of Valley Center. Fallbrook were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-49.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but San Pasqual weren't quite Valley Center's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. San Pasqual suffered a grim 7-28 defeat to Valley Center. San Pasqual's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
