Volleyball Game Preview: Central Knights vs. Classical Purple

The Central Knights will face off against the Classical Purple at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Central is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Tolman, who was ranked ninth at the time (Central was ranked 21st). The Knights came up short against the Tigers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Classical had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Townies with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Classical, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
