Basketball Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short

St. John suffered their biggest defeat since December 10, 2024 on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 97-54 loss at the hands of the Yates Lions. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Mavericks' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

St. John's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Yates, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, St. John's will be playing in front of their home fans against Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Yates, they will face off against Sam Houston at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
