Windsor can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against the Perryville Pirates by a score of 8-4. For Windsor, this counts as revenge for the 8-2 loss Perryville walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April.
Lukas Weiler was incredible, going 1-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Haegele, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Windsor's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-15-1. As for Perryville, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.
