North Side hadn't done well against Everman recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Steers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bulldogs. While the Steers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

North Side's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Everman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Looking ahead, North Side will head out on the road to challenge MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Everman, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
