Football Recap: Oakwood Comets vs. Elmwood/Brimfield Trojans
Oakwood and Elmwood/Brimfield squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Oakwood had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Elmwood/Brimfield Trojans 56-26. While the Comets didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 14-8 in the first quarter.
Although Oakwood took the loss, they still got scores from Chase Harrison, Jackson Dudley, Carsen Dudley, and Collin Furry.
This is the second loss in a row for Oakwood and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Elmwood/Brimfield, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
