Softball Recap: Sauquoit Valley Comes Up Short

Sauquoit Valley lost against Sandy Creek back in May of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians fell 7-2 to the Comets.

Sauquoit Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristyn Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Lydia Curriere also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Sauquoit Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Sandy Creek, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.

Coming up, Sauquoit Valley is taking a road trip to take on New York Mills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians are facing the Marauders at the right time seeing as the Marauders are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Sandy Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
