Volleyball Recap: Palm Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Palm Springs lost against Palm Desert back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aztecs. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 17-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Aliya Rapolla paced Palm Springs' offense, picking up six kills. Rapolla got some help from Shayna Manning and her 19 assists. Rapolla also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bella Hills, each putting up three.

Palm Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Palm Desert, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Palm Springs will square off against rival Rancho Mirage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Palm Desert is set to take on their familiar foe Xavier Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
