Baseball Recap: Holmen Vikings vs. Marshfield Tigers
If Holmen was riding high fresh off their 10-3 takedown of Onalaska on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell just short of the Marshfield Tigers by a score of 6-5 on Saturday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.
Kekoa Rodgers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Nolan Mashak was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
