Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hammond). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Curtis Baptist Crusaders 73-27. The Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Curtis Baptist still got an impressive performance from Wiltrez (Trez) Mincey, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds.

The win (which was Hammond's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Curtis Baptist, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
