Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piper). They took down the Coconut Creek Cougars 68-53 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Leading Piper to victory were LaDanian Mckenzie and Isaiah Monestime. Mckenzie almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards, while Monestime almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. Those 17 points gave Monestime a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakari Smith, who posted 12 points and five assists.

Piper was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Coconut Creek lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bivindi Jean, who earned 23 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 16.2 points per game. Emmanuel Noel was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.
