Baseball Recap: Montgomery Comes Up Short

Montgomery was the 5-1 winner over LaSalle when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. Montgomery fell 5-2 to LaSalle on Tuesday. Montgomery has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montgomery saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lane Goodling, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Montgomery now has a losing record of 5-6. As for LaSalle, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Coming up, Montgomery will take on Calvin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for LaSalle, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Bunkie at 6:00 p.m.
