Furlow Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 37th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 71-63 to Webster County. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Furlow Charter School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rashad Dowdell, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Braylon Smothers, who went 7 for 12 en route to 17 points.

Furlow Charter School's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Webster County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Furlow Charter School will square off against Taylor County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Webster County, they and Marion County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
