Stephenville is a perfect 10-0 against Brownwood since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees will welcome the Lions at 4:30 p.m. Stephenville is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Stephenville was able to grind out a solid win over Glen Rose, taking the game 3-1.

Stephenville was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Brownwood hadn't done well against Mineral Wells recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lions blew past the Rams 3-0. The Lions not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

Brownwood walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-16.

Brownwood found their leader in sophomore Jentry Coalson, who had four digs and one block.

Stephenville's win bumped their record up to 31-11. As for Brownwood, their victory bumped their record up to 16-18.

Stephenville beat Brownwood 3-1 in their previous matchup on October 7th. Will the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
