Volleyball Recap: Huntington Beach Takes a Loss

Huntington Beach was the 2-1 winner over Harvard-Westlake when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Oilers fell 2-0 to the Wolverines on Saturday.

Huntington Beach has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Harvard-Westlake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Huntington Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Punahou on the 20th. As for Harvard-Westlake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Bishop Gorman on the 20th.
