Basketball Game Preview: North Saxons vs. Rancho Verde Mustangs

Having just played yesterday, the North Saxons will get right back to it and host the Rancho Verde Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North beat Torrance 68-63. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saxons.

Meanwhile, Rancho Verde came up short against Rancho Christian on Thursday and fell 65-58.

North is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Rancho Verde, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5.
