Volleyball Recap: Howell Gets the Win

Howell lost to Parkway South back in April of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Vikings came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Howell easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18.

Remy Walkowiak paced Howell's offense, picking up eight kills. Walkowiak got some help from Thomas Thoman and his 21 assists. Walkowiak also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jackson Bradley, racking up two apiece.

Howell's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Parkway South, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-7.

Howell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lindbergh on the 26th. As for Parkway South, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Lafayette on the 26th.
