Baseball Recap: Horse Creek Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Horse Creek Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Whitmire Wolverines by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The Stallions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Horse Creek Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Decker, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Cannon Blume was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Horse Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Whitmire, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Horse Creek Academy nor Whitmire have any future games scheduled.
