Aaron Deleon Dazzles in Stratford Win

Starting off the list is Stratford's Aaron Deleon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Deleon threw for 315 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Deleon must have Jersey Village's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Deleon threw for 409 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in November of 2023.

Davis Kendall Delivers Best Performance of Season

Stratford was led to victory by Davis Kendall, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Kendall rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 55 yards.

This season, Kendall has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 59.4 rushing yards per game.

Isaac Richardson Turns in Season-Best Effort

Memorial came up short on Friday despite Isaac Richardson delivering his best game to date. Richardson picked up three sacks and made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Unfortunately for Cy-Fair, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Richardson. When Richardson last faced the Bobcats back in November of 2023, he picked up two sacks and made 11 total tackles.

Garland Wilburn's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cypress Creek over Cypress Ridge

Cypress Creek had to settle for second on Friday, but Garland Wilburn sure wasn't going down easily. Wilburn was dynamite, rushing for 132 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 49 receiving yards.

Cypress Creek is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6. Wilburn and Cypress Creek will square off against Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Derbigny Jr. Posts Huge Game in 38-0 Victory

Rounding off our Top Five is Brandon Derbigny Jr. of Cypress Falls. Derbigny Jr. threw for 188 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

The victory was the third in a row for Cypress Falls, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles dukes it out withJersey Village at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
