Chaparral got themselves on the board against Waco on Tuesday, but Waco never followed suit. They blew past the Lions 11-0. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Madison Edwards made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in February. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, Kendal Macklin and Mikayla Hudson did most of the damage at the plate: Macklin went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and five RBI, while Hudson went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Hudson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Rivas Estiamba, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
