Basketball Game Preview: Standing Bear Grizzlies vs. Superior Wildcats

The Standing Bear Grizzlies will square off against the Superior Wildcats on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Standing Bear and seven for Superior.

Last Tuesday, Standing Bear came up short against Elkhorn and fell 45-37.

Meanwhile, Superior played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Heartland and fell 64-28. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-6.

Brayton Meyer was Superior's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Thomas M. Mathis held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Colten Butler took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Superior's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Standing Bear, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
